Eye make up can be a tricky thing to master. When I first started getting to the age where I was allowed to wear the stuff to school, my mom never allowed me to wear eyeliner. Being rebellious, once I got to high school I wore a ton of it. Probably too much, in fact, although hindsight vision is always 20/20 and at the time I thought I looked really cute with my raccoon eyes. I learned a lot about eye make up from those teenage magazines with pictures of shirtless television heartthrobs in them, but they seemed to leave some very important parts out.
For example, I never was told that eye make up works a lot better when you put on mascara last. Since it was the first makeup that I was allowed to wear, I got into the habit of putting it on first. Everyone knows, however, that you put it on after you put on your eyeshadow and gobs of eyeliner. Also, I went through this phase where all of my eyeshadow had some sort of sparkle to it. Little did I know that glitter was for Vegas, New Year's Eve and Halloween, almost exclusively.
Still, eye make up is my favorite thing to apply and wear, to this day. You can change so much of your look just by changing your eye make up. You can go from daytime and demure to night time party animal with just a few shade changes and false lashes. Countless pages of fashion magazines and more store shelves than you can shake a stick at have been devoted exclusively to eye make up and how to apply it, and something about that demands respect. Even just talking about it makes me want to go throw on another coat of mascara!

so i have extremely dark brown curly hair, brown eyes, and a fairly dark skin tone (i’m african american/caucasian)
what colors would look best for eyes??
thank you!
I think anything in the gold or shimmery white category would look great on you. For evening, you could do a black/gray smoky eye look.
Eye Make Up Tips? Thankyouu
?
I’m 14, have very pale skin, brown hair and large, blue eyes.
I love dramatic eye make up but have very limited funds to buy make up.
Any tips for creating a striking look without breaking my bank account?
Thankyouu =)

A nice, black mascara really makes eyes pop. A little brown eyeshadow dropped in the crease of the lid (place your finger on your lid and feel where the eyeball curves away, thats the crease) will add depth. If you’d like, you can add a touch of black eyeliner to the upper lid. If you use a pencil, smooth it out with a q-tip for a softer look.
Anyone have wedding make up tips for Asian eyes when one eye has a fold and the other doesn’t?
Here is my predicament.
I getting married in about 40 days. I normally don’t wear a lot of makeup. Heck, I only sometimes put some foundation on, but is about it. I don’t ever put on eye make up unless it is for a special occasion, and even that is rare.
Part of the reason is because my eyes are shaped differently. I am half Asian, half Caucasian. One of my eyes has a fold, and the other doesn’t. (This does not mean that one eye looks “white”, but rather it does have a natural crease).
Here is a photo to help you get the idea. http://www.flickr.com/photos/43559727@N06/4704644187/
This makes putting on makeup very frustrating for me as I cannot put the same technique/application for both eyes to make them look the same. And because of this, I do not have the most experience putting on eye makeup.
Any tips for getting a natural look with using eye liner, eye shadow, and mascara with my eyes?
(Oh, and if I could afford the extra $250 for a makeup artist, I would, so that’s why I’m doing this myself. Thanks!)
I have the EXACT, SAME PROBLEM with my eyes!!
It gets SO annoying!
here are some tips –
Make sure you wear a good primer! Invest in one, it’ll save you in the long run. Go to sephora and try Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. It will keep your eyeshadows on your eyelids and it will prevent them from creasing.
Try shimmery neutral shades – nothing too crazy and glittery. just pearly champagne colours and browns. blend a champagne color on your eyelid. Add a little bit of a darker brown in the outer corner of the eye. For the eye that is monolid(or folded), bring the colors a bit higher up so they look even.
Line the eye lids with a thin line of black liquid eyeliner. Make sure you wait a couple seconds for it to dry so you don’t spoil your hard work!
For mascara, I would go for a waterproof one that’s more volumizing. try covergirl lashblast in very black. get the waterproof version.
Try some false eyelashes that aren’t too dramatic – something that isnt too theatrical or dark. Here’s some lashes you can try out – (Go to your local drugstore and see if you can pick up any eyelashes that look similar to number 124 in this picture.)
http://www.audreydao.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/fashionlashes.jpg
As for lash glue, try DUO lash glue. You can normally find it at the drugstore.
As for foundation, I would try Revlon ColorStay foundation from the drugstore. its a long wearing foundation, and costs around ten dollars. Then, set with a powder. Try Maybelline Dream Matte powder. Can be found at the drugstore as well.
For blush, try a peachy pink/rosy pink color. As for the finish of the blush, it depends on your skin. If you have larger pores, try a matte blush. If you have smaller pores and clearer skin, try one thats got a bit more shimmer. Sweep the colour on the apples of your cheeks (smile to find the apples), a light dust of it on your forehead, and jaw line. I would try a covergirl blush. For longer lasting results, apply a cream blush, then go over with a powder blush thats similar in colour. be sure to use a light hand.
try ecotools brushes from the drugstore! those brushes are pretty good quality.
for lips, apply a lipbalm. let it soak in for a couple minutes. Then, apply a coral coloured lip stick. then, go over with a lip gloss that’s either the same colour or a lighter pink. For lipgloss, try Wet N Wild MegaSlicks in Candy Apple. For lipstick, try the maybelline color sensational lipstick. Those can both be found from the drugstore.
For eye makeup, I would just purchase from sephora. It may be a bit pricier than drugstore makeup, but the quality of the products and how they perform on your big day will be worth it.
WHOA long post, but i just have a lot of advice to give, I guess. I hope I wasnt rambling too much… Hahahaha. Try youtube, its the best and easiest way to get help for makeup. Search “asian monolid wedding makeup” in the search bar.
Good luck!
Eye make-up tips for small, brown, deep set eyes with glasses?
I know you guys will say go on youtube but everyone is saying something different and I’m kinda confused with combining the tips for small, deep set…etc together so answers would be much appreciated
No more than two layers of mascara and a thin line of liquid eyeliner looks natural but really cute! maybe also with some eyeshadow:)
Any eye make up tips for people who don’t have double eyelids?
I don’t have double eyelids so sometimes looking at make up tutorials don’t help because all the models have double eyelids. I don’t have that little crease to stop at, so when I put on eyeshadow or eyeliner, I’m afraid I might overdo it.
Any tips?

what are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?
i’ve been wearing the same kind of make up for awhile and i just want to try something new. what are some looks i can try? i want to make my eyes seem lighter and bring out the gold in them. also, i like to make my eyes look bigger and less round.
if you know any other looks that might not be specifically for brown eyes or that you think would look good, that would also be helpful.
I am a makeup artist.
This question has been asked numerous times here, I feel like i’m repeating myself. Please check the answers before posting questions.
To make eyes appear bigger, use LIGHTER shades on your lids, such as gold, light pinks or bright purples. DONT line your entire eye or it will close it up! Try using a white or light beige shadow on the inner corners of your eyes and on your brow bones to open them up. To bring out the gold, use it’s complimentary color, PURPLE.
I am re-posting an answer to a similar question:
“Because your eyes are brown to begin with, NEVER use a brown liner!!! Using colors in the same hue range as your eye color will make you look “washed out”.
If you have dark eyes, I would suggest using a light purple or blue on the lid, and a darker purple or blue in the crease, with a dark purple liner on the inner corner to about 3/4 out. Use black liner on the very outter edge of the eye. A very dark plum or Black mascara would finish the look. If you want it more natural, skip the shadow.
If you have light brown eyes, all you need is a very dark plum eyeliner applied from the inner edge to outter edge on the top lid (along lash line), smudged up and outward. You could use Mac’s Fluidline in Macroviolet (it’s very easy to blend, and once it dries it doesn’t budge). Then re-line the upper lash line with a thin black liner, and finish w/ black mascara. You could also use a dark purple shadow, instead of the purple liner, such as Mac’s Nocturnelle or Graphology shadows.
A light yellow-gold shimmery shadow would also work with dark brown eyes. Mainly, your colors are Purple, Plum, Light-to-Medium Blues, Mauves, and Pink/Yellow-Based Golds. Dark eyes need lighter colors, light eyes need darker colors to make them pop.”
Does anyone know any sites that give eye make up tips for different eye shapes?
I need sites that give step by step instructions. Because I have big eyes, and the outer corners are kind of low. It’s hard to explain. I’m really not good with make-up.
Thanks for your help!
i think the seventeen magazing website may help !!:)
I desperately need new eye make-up tips and ideas?
I’m 19, and I’ve been doing my own make-up (rather well, I might add) for the past four or five years. I have just about every eye shadow colour out there, and favour black eyeliner and mascara. I also have a few brown and blue eyeliners.
I use pencil liners, and have various shadow application brushes. I also use Maybelline ‘The Falsies’ mascara.
I am very bored with doing essentially the same eye make-up style every day. Can anyone give me tips or ideas on how to liven up my look?
Oh, and I have blue eyes and very fair skin.
use youtube find some tutorials and different combos that u might like or that might look good on ur skin
Eye make up tips and help?

anyone have eye make up tips?
i usually just wear eye liner and mascara. people tell me that i have big eyes similiar to the olsen twins but brown. idk what make up looks good on big brown eyes.
all suggestions welcomed!:)
thanks!
Well since you have brown eyes you should do gold colors with mascara. It’ll make your eye color pop out and give contrast. I’m a guy and was a make artist at Toni & Guy for a while. I’m straight to so I know what girls should look like haha.
Eye make-up tips for 18 year old?
i would like to know how can i make my eyes stand out. they blue..i’m 18 and don’t really look my age (look younger) so i want to try and look my age but not having to apply so much make-up.. i like it natural but don’t mind changing now and then.. any tips? thanks a lot! and when can i use the smokey eye make-up? is it better for night time?
Oh and i’m currently using Rimmel Glam eyes mascara
I’m 18, and I have that problem too.
Using darker colors works better at making you look older than you are. Use a gunmetal grey for your base color and a darker black for shading and contouring. My current favorite shade is purple, so you can definitely play around with that and still look older. Smokey eyes are better for evening because it’s more dramatic.
Dying your eyebrows darker also makes you look older than you really are, although I’m not sure why.
Keep using your mascara, it’s one of the best I’ve ever tried.
Good luck!
Any eye make up tips for me? (pic)?

^ My eye with no makeup (haha I had to make it my profile!)
But I suck a putting make up on and was wondering if any one had any tips? I’m 13 leaving 7th grade and would like something easy and simple…If you had any tips for me that would be great! Thanks!
OMG. I thought I was the only one! For years I practiced and couldn’t get it right. So the only way I could wear eyeliner was if my sister put it on for me. But this Easter my fave Aunt bought me an eyeliner as a gift and now I wear eyeliner every day! Now I don’t to why it made such a difference, or if it will help you, but try Avon glimmer sticks water proof eye liner and hopefully it will work for you.
Eye make-up tips for very dark brown eyes?
I have black hair and usuaslly have a warm color of tan. I always use black eyeliner and mascara with different eyeshadows. I am interested in using different color eyeliners, I am not sure which colors would look good without looking cheesy. Any tips would help a lot. Thanks
Hello. It sounds as if we have the same coloring – I’m Italian with black, curly hair and olive skin. Also with brown eyes. Hopefully, I can provide a little bit of insight on eyeliners!
There are two colors that most flatter brown eyes. I’ve studied makeup artists over the past ten years, and brown eyes really pop with green and purple. The trick, though, is not so much with the eyeliner. I’ve learned recently, that the trick you want to stick to, is smudging black eyeliner into the root of your eyelashes (doesn’t have to be perfect), but it creates a natural line. Then, with an small angled brush, apply green or purple eyeshadow directly to your eyelid, and directly under your bottom eyelashes. Use sparingly along the bottom – you don’t want it to be too dark, but trust me – it looks amazing. And always remember that you want your darkest shade of eyeshadow to appear at the corners of your eyes to elongate your eye.
Sometimes after applying the shadow beneath my eyelashes, I apply a little black eyeliner in the corner and right underneath for a smokey, nighttime effect.
And an extra tip – bronzers always look fabulous on our skin, and make our eyes pop. Use a brush to apply in a “C” motion beginning atop your temple and smoothing down to the top of your cheekbones. Finish with a pink blush right on the apples of your cheeks.
Good luck, I hope it works out for you!!
Any eye make up tips?
I have black hair and hazel eyes. I need some new bold, edgy, and different ways to do my eye make up. I usually have tan/pink shimmer eyeshadow with cream highlighter. Then I use black eyeliner on the top lid with the Amy Winehouse winged corners (but not nearly as drastic). Im getting kind of bored with this style and am open to try anything different. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone got some cool tips for eye make up?
No matter what i do my eyes still look shit !!
try just curling your lashes for a fresh look. to make lashes look thicker add mascara. for a day look sweep a pinkish shadow over your lids. curl your lashes then add mascara. for a night look start with a shimmery beige base then use a darker shade (preferably) brown on the outer creases of your eyes. for a more daring look try smoky eyes. add silver/platinum base to your lids. dark colors at the crease then line your lower lashes with the same or another color. line the top lids with black or grey liner theb curl lashes and add mascara.

I think the best way to wear make up for blue eyes, is to use browns, topes, beiges, or golds. Using brown eyeshadow started above the lash lines with a darkish brown, and getting lighter shades as you go up and just a shimmery gold right under your eyebrows. This will make you eyes appear to be bigger, and brown is the perfect color for blue eyes. Also, you shoud not use black mascara or eyeliner because it will make your eyes look beadier, and smaller. Using brown eyeliner on the bottom lid right above the lashes will look great. and Use brown mascara applying it on both the top and bottom lashes, to make the bottom ones look thicker. That’s just what I would do(:
Does anyone have any Make – up tips? Preferably eye make – up?
I need make – up tips. I am going into 8th grade so nothing too flashy or dark… just something to give my look a little “WOW” factor! Please if you could… list the product and or a website that i could find the product at? and please nothing too expensive! Thank you so very much in advance!!!
One of the best ways to give your eyes a little “WOW” is to groom your eyebrows. Do you have a nice arch in your brow? Are the brows trimmed and shapely, or are there lots of stay eyebrow hairs distracting? Your eyebrows frame your face, and if you want drama, they’re a great place to start. Shaping your brows is best done by a professional, but if that’s not a possibility, the next best thing is to have someone with a bit of experience to help you. Just remember never to pluck more than one hair at a time – just removing a single hair can make a big difference, and if you grab two or three in the tweezers, you might end up with too-few brows! You can “map out” an eyebrow shape before you pluck, by using concealer over the hairs you want to remove. Then you can see what they’ll look like before you remove a single hair. Here’s a great guide for shapes, etc: http://www.eyebrowz.com/howto.htm?cid=Goog&terms=camp1grp4ad1
Also, one more tip. NEVER wear black eyeliner. ALWAYS wear black/brown as your darkest choice. Even if you have black hair and mocha skin. The reason for this is because color reflects light (making your eyes look bigger). Black is not a color – so it actually absorbs light, making things look smaller. Think “pee-holes in the snow” small. I do a lot of stage and film work, and that is the standard. No black – but darkest brown. It’s great advice for anyone who wears liner.
Have fun and a great 8th grade year!

Can any one help me out please?
I surfed around online, and here’s what I found:
Larger and More Dramatic
Dramatic eye makeup will use the application of a light shade of eye shadow from the eyelash line to the eyebrow. A darker shade will then be applied in a thin line just in the crease of the eye. This makes the eyelid look larger and more dramatic.
Stronger and More Vibrant
To make your eye appear stronger and more vibrant, apply a medium shade of eye shadow over the darker shade that you have placed in the crease of the eye. This should be blended into the eyebrow bone.
Using Eyeliner and Mascara
Your dramatic eye makeup will also include your eyeliner and mascara. Apply black eyeliner to your upper eyelashes. A thin line should be used from the inner corner of the eye. For dramatic eye looks, extend the line diagonally upward past the outer corner of the eye. On the bottom lashes you will also use eyeliner. This should be blended in making sure not to close the line at the outer corner of the eye. This will make your eyes appear smaller. Finish your dramatic eye make up application with two coats of mascara on both the upper and lower lashes.

What are some eye make-up tips for a 13 yr old?
I have blue/grey/green eyes, so what color eyeliner would bring out the color, or compliment them, some fun and neutral colors would be appreciated.
And how do you do the smoky eyes look?
I would do a bright blue eyeliner or a brown. It really compliments them. I would use a little mascara and maybe some pearly white eyeshadows (lightly) This is my fav look lol! Blue eyes can make any color really flatttering.
Somkey eyes:
Apply a a grey eyeshadow to you lid and a lil above your crease, than on just your lid some black with black liner and mascara. It’s basically just a dark look usuing blacks. You may also use brown and purple

Eye Make-Up Tips/Steps.?
Well.. I’m alright with doing my make-up, but I’m getting tired of the same daily routine. I want to try something new, new colors, and tips on how to make it look better. I wear black eye-liner with my dark-brown eyes, fairly tanned skin, and long, straight black hair. I’m not sure if it helps but, I used to wear light-pink eye-shadow on top of my eye, and the same, below my eye-brows. Then, I took some sparkle eye-shadow and smoothed below the corner of my eye-brow. Sorry.. I might have not described it that well.!! Hehe. <33333333
Well i wear rimmel white eye liner
it looks really good with brown eyes!!!
And shimmer strips brown eyes
It is super natural
and i got mine from cvs
:]
hope it helps!
dark, smokey eye? make up tips? eye liner?
well first, how to do a smokey eye but not look like you did makeup in the dark!!
ok i have hazel eyes and drk brwn-light brn hair. long. so wat color eyeliner would be ebst? nothing crzy like purple or bright green or anything cuz im still in school afterall.
last.. any make up tips in general??
thanks in advance! L.
Unfortunately I have blue eyes and blonde hair but I can tell you what I do. I take black eyeliner (BENEFIT makes a great one with a smudger on the other end) Or you can use a QTIP. Just line your eyes before you put any shadow on. Then take the smudger and smudge the liner upwards. Then put your eyeshadow on. I use a charcoal gray color. Start from the outer corner of your eye and work the shadow in towards the inside of your eye. Sometimes I will then go over my eyeliner again and smudge on top of the shadow. Then lots of black mascara. For having brown hair and hazel eyes I would probably do the same.
With summer coming, the style has really changed and the style is more lighter pastely colors. Of course when having a night on the town or something, you cant go wrong with the smokey eye.
Good luck. The only way I learned how to do makeup was to sit in front of the mirror with a bottle of eye makeup remover and just keep trying until it looked good.
I also check myself out in the mirror outdoors when my makeup is done. That way I will for sure know what I am going to look like when I go outside. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments so I must be doing something right.
Good luck and have fun!
EYE MAKE-UP tips!!!!!?
I need some very bold, & daring eye make-up looks/tips. But also some soft, & elegant eye make-up looks/tips too!
anyone have anything?
also anything you know to make brown eyes stand out is a great help too.
& to make eyes appear bigger
any eye make-up tips are great :]
please & thank you!
love you guys <3
My favorite eyeshadow trio is the Covergirl Trio in “Shimmering Sands” which is an amazing neutral. I also love Clinique’s “Victorian Pink” duo for the same reason! My first big tip for any makeup look is to use a big eyeshadow brush (which looks similar to a small blush brush). The shadow applies quickly and more evenly.
Using a neutral, but then applying a shimmery jewel tone shadow to the edges of the lids can be a great bold effect. What ever you do, don’t use jewel tones in the creases or in the area between the crease and your brow. Not a good look.
Another thing you can do to switch from soft to bold is use different eyeliners. I recommend a brown pencil eyeliner for a softer look, and black liquid eyeliner (cover girl and maybelline both make great ones) for a bolder look. Black liquid eyeliner is also awesome for pictures, so whenever you plan on taking them make sure to use that even if the rest of your makeup is neutral. It makes your eyes appear bigger and helps them to stand out. I always use a soft black mascara no matter which type of liner I use.
Hope that helps!
As always,
Christine
what are some good eye-make up tips for a 12 year old?

If you dont have eyelids, I dont know how to help you with eye makeup
i need eye make up tips , plz?
i`m asian and i dont reall yhave anyopne to give me tips or be honest with me when i knoe my eye make up is horrible. i know it sucks! anyways i just want to know how to put on mascara, eyeliner, and shadow correctly. wat products should i use?(plz not too expensive ones ), how do i do it? , wat colors should i be using?? wat brand? please give me a lot of details…………
oh yeah does anyone know a good nude color lipgloss?? thanks again
You don’t have to have expensive brands to make yourself look good. You can buy brands like wet ‘n wild which is really cheap but great. And all you have to do is since you probably have brown eyes (i just figured b/c you said you was asian) you need to focus on light pink or silvery eyeshadows to make your eyes sparkle and pop. Mascara, you should buy darker colors and put it on ’til it looks good and stop. B/c if you keep puttin it on, it will start to clump and that’s what looks the worst. If your eyes slant down, use your eyeliner to make a little curve pointing up on the corner of your eye to lift. And if they slant up, don’t worry that looks good ne way. Hope it was of some help. And always remember, there is that one special guy God has sent especially for you and he will love you with or without sucky eye makeup.
What are your eye make-up tips?
What do you do to make your eyes stand out?
for a natural day look…
i use bourjous round pot eyeshadow in the really light beige color, and spread it across the socet and slightly into the brow bone.. then maybe add a thin line of liquid black eyeliner and black mascara. i also put vaseline on my lashes before mascara i think it gives it a nice glossy hold.
for a simple party look…
the same bourjois beige eyeshadow as a base…i then use a metcallic electric blue eyeliner pencil (maybelline make a nice one) and apply it really close to the upper lash line…but not all the way into the inside corner of the eye. i also put abit about a centremeter along the lower lashine near the outer corner of the eye. then take a grey eyeshadow and apply it to the eyelid using the pad of your finger…roll it into the eyelid but go no further than the socket of the eye…this just helps the blue settle down. then add mascara
or
use grey and darker grey eyeshadow on the eyelid and blend into the socket…on the inner corner of the eye press a hot pink eyeshadow onto that inner corner of the lid and blend not quite half way along the lid. add mascara.
if you want a smokey eye… there are loads of great 3 palette eyeshadows, like bourjois trio eyeshadows which explain how to create the smokey effect…good colours are greys, deep purples and smokey colours.
good luck

So anyone have any eye make up tips for me?
Its much appreciated.
Thankyouu<3
I would still try to use eyeliner, but try a lighter color, like light brown. Also make sure it is sharp so it isn’t to thick. If that still makes you look too dark, you could use a darker shade of eyeshadow instead. Stay away from bright colors for the eye shadow on your lid, that ends up looking childish most of the time. And to finish put on mascara (black) and curl your eyelashes with just an eyelash curler. You could also put on some bronzer and blush.
Make up tips for lazy eye?
Hey, I have a lazy eye that comes down to just above my pupil. And I don’t wear eye make up because it draws alot of attention to my eye and I dont like it. Do you have any tips that will make my eyes appear brighter without drawing too much attention to my lazy eye? (I’m allergic to most eyeliners and mascaras. I can wear almay)
Thanks!
make-up tips…. eye make-up rutines?
make-up tips any good eye make-up rutines?
well, i don’t know exactly what info you are looking for, but every morning I:
1) put on my eyeliner – i use black and fully line the top lide and partially line the bottom lid, about 2/3 the way in.
2) curl my eyelashes – it stays curled better if you heat the eyelash curler with a blow dryer and then curl
3) apply mascara – several layers, and tip the application wand vertical and sweep across the bottom lashes
4) apply foundation – i actually mix two colors to get the best shade
5) apply powder – i have a big compact with several different colors and i sweep the brushe across the colors i want, apply all over my face, especially the t-zone (forhead, nose, chin)
6) apply a darker powder to my cheeks as a blush
ok that’s it! sometimes after i apply eyeliner i put on eyeshadow. i usually stick to either browns or greys or light pinks. also, i apply foundation to my eyelids before i put on the eyeshadow because it helps it not to crease because of the oil on my eyelids.
sometimes i apply a light natural lipstick or lipgloss. i don’t go too heavy on the lips because it makes me look old! i wouldn’t suggest it.
Does anyone have eye make up tips??
I need tips for any eye make up.. and how to remove mascara form your eyelashes..
If you want big stand out eyes, wear your eyeliner on the outside of your eye. On top and bottom. If you want subtle yet very sexy eyes: wear your eyeliner on the inner part of your lower eyelid. I also use maybelline mascara for long lashes
always remove your eye make up! use any eye make up remover that you feel is good on your eyes. If you wear contacts then get the contact sensitive remover. Just try diff. ones. chances are you’ll go through a few before you find one you like the best. I use soap and water. Oh and be sure to wash ALL of your face! even your eyelids! even if you dont wear eye shadow b/c bacteria can go through your pores and cause an infection.

Eye make-up tips for brown eyes going to a dance?
My eyes are almond-shaped I guess and people say I have flecks of green in them but I can’t see that. I have a ‘dance’ coming up so what make-up would you suggest?
~Applying a Perfect Base
1. Apply moisturizer 5 minutes before you start your makeup. All bases will go on more smoothly if your skin is well-hydrated. Tissue off any excess – while moisturized skin is good, too much grease will make it slip and slide.
2. Remember that less is more, so don’t apply big swathes; instead, put a few dots around your face. Now, using your fingers or a foundation sponge, blend these dots together. make sure you blend extra-well around your hairline and jaw. If you’ve chosen the right shade for your skin tone, there shouldn’t be an obvious difference.
3. Once the foundation has settled into the skin, check for any obvious under-eye shadows or blemishes showing through. If there are, correct these – if you have any of these and would like help on how to properly cover them up, click on my profile to e-mail me and let me know.
~How to Apply Blusher
For a natural healthy glow:
1. Apply foundation (and, if necessary, powder) as normal. Smile – where your cheek is naturally at its fattest is where blusher needs to go to create a natural look.
2. Apply the blusher in a small circle, blending well. For best results, try a gel blusher. Now powder over the top.
~How to Apply Basic Eye Makeup
1. Prime your eyelid. Eyeshadow will last longer if it’s not applied directly to bare skin (oil on the lids can cause the shadow to crease, while dry lids will absorb moisture from the shadow, leaving blochy color), so sweep foundation over the top.
2. Fill in your brows. Choose an eyebrow pencil that’s the same color, or, if you’re a blonde or a redhead and have very pale brows, one shade darker than your natural brow color. Using light strokes, gently color over your brows to add emphasis.
3. Choose your shades. For this look, you need a light shadow, a medium shadow, and a dark. It doesn’t matter what they are so long as they go together. Try ivory, dove gray, and charcoal on cool skins; taupe, beige, and chocolate brown on warm. Dust the lightest shade across the whole of your eye, lid, and socket.
4. Now, take the medium shade and apply this tot he eye socket and the outer corner. Blend well using your finger.
5. Take the darkest shade and, using your sponge applicator, apply a thin line of this along the top lid and around the bottom as close to the lashes as you can get. Blend this well with another applicator or a Q-tip to create a smudgy line. Finally, apply your mascara.
~How to Apply Lipstick
1. Apply Vaseline, then use a soft toothbrush to remove dead skin cells, brushing gently in small circles.
2. Apply your foundation as you normally would, making sure you lightly cover you lips too.
3. Apply lip liner that matches either your lips or your lipstick exactly. To apply it straight, rest your little finger on your chin and press the flattest side of the liner point on the middle of your upper lip. Draw to the corner, sticking it just inside the natural line of your lips. Once completed, line the rest of the lips with the pencil.
4. Apply your lipstick with a lip brush, blending again from the middle down to teh corners of the mouth. If you’re using a very bright color, make sure you go right into the corners.
5. Blot with tissue. Now reapply another coat of lipstick. Blot again. Add lip sealant or gloss if desired.
Eye make up tips for brown eyes?
I love makeup. I have since the beginning of my freshman year. Does anyone know any good tips to make dark brown eyes pop? My skin is light but a mix of black and white. My hair is dark brown and black.
Eye shadow colors such as green, gold, soft pinks, purples, navy blues, and warm browns should make your eyes pop.If you want to make your eyes pop do a contrasting color on your eyelids.
Also,Apply a white eyeliner on your lower water line, mascara only on the top of your lashes, and some brown eye liner on the top of your lashes. There is a trick to using your mascara,
1.Curl your eye lashes.
2.Then apply 3 coats of mascara.Remember to wiggle the wand at the base of your eyelashes and work your way up.
3.lastly curl your eye lashes again and you are finished.
There are lots of tutorials on youtube on how to make your brown eyes “pop”.Hope I helped

Any good eye make-up tips that are easy to do?
I normally just wear eyeliner and mascara because its easier to do in the morning before school. Ive wanted to try new things on my eyes like the darker look but it just looks weird even if its done right. Is it cause i dont normally wear make-up?
Heres pics any good colors for my skin tone would be great….http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=640158142
I dont have acne either.
Because the pic is black and white, its hard to c ur coloring. I’d use a soft natural blush and a dark brwn powder lining ur eyes w/ a slanted brush then use gold over ur lid and in ur crease. go ahead with the mascara and def lip gloss. just be nautral.
Newly Brunette needs eye make up tips?
HI there, I am a newly colored brunette. I am wondering how I go about choosing great eye color makeup.
I have green eyes (like the color of spruce trees) and rich brown hair. What would you suggest I wear for makeup. Keeping in mind I like makeup but hate to spend more than 5-10 minutes.
Thanks for your time.

Some cute eye make-up tips for an african-american?
I’m going to high school & I wanna make a good first impression(; my eyes are small, they’re very dark brown & i wear glasses, but hopefully i’ll get light brown or hazel colored contacts. i’m 14, 5’1, 104 lbs. & i’m medium brown-skin (:
Does anyone have some eye make-up tips?
I have dark brown, long hair, quite a pale complexion and hazel/green eyes. What eye make up would best suit my colouring?
I’m pretty similiar and I like deep browns and pinks. Plum color eye liner (applied subtly) will also bring out the color in your eyes (I learned that on What Not to Wear and it really works!). I also like coral and sheer pink colored lipsticks. I usually go for a more natural look.
ANY TIPS FOR EYE MAKE UP?

Eye make-up tips?
I’m a little challenged when it comes to make up. Can anyone give me some personal eye make-up tips/strategys to get perfect eyes? I want flattering smoky/anything. Thanks <3
Green eyes look good with green, teal, and purples. Brown eyes work with purples, browns, and gold. Green, blue, and lavender is flattering with blue and grey eyes.
For a smokey eye look, using black eye liner on the top and bottom or just the top and then smudging it is better than just leaving it in a thick line. Then brushing on a shimmery charcoal shadow or dark grey, then long lashes!
For a natural eye look, skip eye liner and just apply shimmey brown shadow on your lid, a darker brown in your crease for definition, then swiping on a light gold on your browbone.
To look natural and carefree (and on those lazy days) just wear a good dark mascara on your lashes to open up your eyes, and maybe apply a little shimmer.
Good luck~!

Anyone have any eye make up tips?
When ever I do my eye make up my eyes end up looking really dark like I’m sick or something. I usually use black eyeliner, black mascara and lighter eye shadow. Does anyone have any good tips? Also I want my eye lashes to look bigger, I’ve tried many different macaras but none seem to make them pop. How do you put eye make up on if your going out or just going to work/school? Tips appreciated.
I also want to make my eyes really stand out. I have small, dark brown eyes.
I try to stay away from eyeshadow b/c I’m like you and if I use it I end up looking sick. An awesome tip I found out is that if you put a slightly lighter foundation on your eyelids and a creme or whitish eyeshadow below your brow it lightens up your face it also makes your eyelashes stickout even if you are just wearing a little mascara. As for the eyeliner smudge it so it lasts longer
Eye make-up tips, please?
I want to make my eyes look chinkier. Make-up tips please?

Okay…
Liquid eyeliner on the top
Start from the inside corner of the eye and bring the eyeliner out to the end of your eybrow or a cm from the outside corner of ur eye
Eyeliner on the bottom and bring it out to join the other line
Eye shadow: apply a semi cirle from eyelid to the eye crease dark browns or black
Hope this helps
